In my humble opinion, I don’t feel waffles get enough shine. I’m not understanding why in the world of breakfast goods, pancakes frequently get chosen over waffles when waffles have POCKETS.
I know I sound like a broken record, but any chance that I have to Red Velvetize something, I am taking it. Plus, they’re the perfect late-night snack because they take no time at all.
No, I did not spend a million dollars on wings. If I had a million-dollar to spend on wings, we would be having a much different conversation.
Throw some fillets (or catfish nuggets depending on your preference) in some cornmeal with some seasoning, throw it in some oil and you have dinner in about 10 minutes.
As wild as this year as been, can you believe that summer is coming to an end? Well at least summer is ending for the rest of the world, here in South Florida, we have summer year-round.
But with summer ending, I had a craving for something light and crisp (yet still filling) before we get into the heaviness of fall and winter cooking. Exhibit A: This Shrimp & Orzo Salad.
Now, if you're like me, you always make way too much mac n' cheese than necessary.
So the obvious thing to do is to take it, roll it into a ball and deep fry it for cheesecake factory appetizer vibes. Or pair it with some homemade tomato sauce and you've got yourself a second meal.
Is it really Sunday dinner without dessert? Is it really dessert without cheesecake?
Chile this cheesecake is a stunt. A full stunt. Classic cheesecake with macerated strawberries and crème fraîche folded in.

I’ve blogged here and there. Started a cooking YouTube channel for the briefest of seasons. Created a website. But a dedicated, consistent pursuit over a long period of time, I’ve never done. I’ve sat on these scrap notes, post-its, and notebooks, knowing one day that I would come back and do something with them, and I guess that day is here.
